<p>Este artículo aborda, a partir de una investigación histórica y etnográfica, la difusión de la Sexta declaración de la Selva lacandona en 2006 en el estado de Puebla, México. De modo especial, el artículo se centra en la participación de diferentes organizaciones de la ciudad de Puebla en este proceso. El autor se apoya sobre nociones gramscianas como las de sentido común y revolución pasiva así como sobre la noción de desarrollo desigual y combinado para comprender este proceso. El análisis subraya el peso de las dinámicas locales y de algunos presupuestos de lo que Gramsci llamaba «el sentido común » en tanto que obstáculos a la difusión de la propuesta zapatista. </p>
