Siswa Sanggar Sekar Putri belum dapat melakukan eksplorasi gerak tari dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses penerapan metode Karya Wisata untuk peningkatan kemampuan eksplorasi gerak tari serta untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam kemampuan eksplorasi gerak tari. Penelitian dilakukan karena kemampuan ekaplorasi gerak siswa di sanggar Sekar Putri Depok rendah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan dari Kemmis dan Mc Taggart dengan penerapan metode pembelajaran Karya Wisata. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan 2 siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap, yaitu perencanaan,tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Penelitian melibatkan kolaborator untuk melakukan penilaian dan evaluasi hasil dari metode Karya Wisata untuk meningkatkan kemampuan eksplroasi gerak tari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode Karya Wisata dapat meningkatkan kemampuan eksplorasi gerak tari pada siswa remaja berdasarkan hasil nilai pra- siklus 49,8, siklus I meningkat menjadi 65,9, dan siklus II menjadi 81,2.
