Abstract
Depuis le début des années 2000, le poète et artiste Franck Leibovici utilise des documents et artefacts élaborés dans le cadre des conflits dits de « basse intensité » afin d’explorer, par les biais de dispositifs poétiques, les formes de vie produites par ces situations géopolitiques. Suivant une approche écologique, les documents mobilisés – qu’ils soient des transcriptions de chants djihadistes, des vidéos, des résolutions de l’ONU ou des textes divers issus d’internet – sont conçus comme des instruments d’action capables d’expliciter les dispositifs qui les ont produits. En 2019, Frank Leibovici publie son « mini-opéra pour non-musiciens » low intensity conflicts aux éditions MF. L’œuvre constitue un écosystème de dix séquences – chacune fondée sur un système de notation particulier – qui produisent des situations et des savoirs spécifiques. De quelle façon l’écologie documentale proposée par Leibovici dans low intensity conflicts bouleverse la notion d’œuvre musicale et peut nous aider à penser les liens entre conflits armés et création musicale contemporaine ?
