Abstract
This digtal monument & future imagineering is an offering created in honour & to honour the continum of solidarity & co-existence between Black & Indigenous folks in what is currentlty known as Toronto, Canada, also referred to as Tkaronto & Turtle Island. It is focused on the commonality of the innerstanding amongst that the drum is recongenize as a feminine energy & opporates as giver, healer, teacher, & reminder of our syncronation and relation to the world around us & to other human. The work is informed by several conversation with Black and Indigenous figures which inspired thel visual metaphors and metonymic semiotics coinciding with speaking to the ideas of balance and unity with all things. As an offering the piece will continue to be upgraded &updated as I will be seeking to get contribution from more Indigenous folks.
