Abstract
Les personnes enseignant en milieu scolaire formel ont besoin de formation pour parvenir à intégrer des préoccupations liées à un avenir viable dans leurs pratiques. Dans une perspective d’écoformation, cette formation devrait viser à la fois le développement de leur sensibilité envers le milieu naturel (relation avec la beauté du monde) et de leur capacité à comprendre et agir face aux enjeux environnementaux (relation avec la complexité du monde). Le cours d’éducation pour un avenir viable (EAV), que nous offrons en ligne depuis le printemps 2019 à des personnes enseignantes inscrites dans un programme de maîtrise professionnelle, poursuit de telles visées. Dans cet article, les cadres didactiques du cours ainsi que les principaux moyens proposés, dont l’utilisation de la littérature jeunesse, seront d’abord présentés. Puis, nous présenterons les principaux éléments d’une recherche associée à l’expérience du cours, visant à dégager des pistes pour l’évolution et l’amélioration de la formation offerte.
