Metadata used in the article entitled "Unraveling global and diazotrophic bacteriomes of boreal forest floor feather mosses and their environmental drivers at the ecosystem and at the plant scale in North America". This metadata comprises environmental parameters (temperature, precipitation, nitrogen deposition, tree density) measured on a latitudinal transect in Quebec, Canada; and nutrients (phosphorus and metal concentrations), nitrogen fixation and cyanobacterial biomass measured in feather mosses collected on this transect.
