La médecine chinoise est une branche de la culture chinoise vaste et profonde, ayant une longue histoire
\nvieille de plusieurs milliers d’années. Dans le monde moderne, la médecine chinoise fait face à de sérieux
\ndéfis. Beaucoup d’intellectuels remettent en question ou même réfutent cette médecine, estimant qu’elle n’est
\npas fondée sur une théorie scientifique, qu’elle appartient à la métaphysique. Par conséquent, certains préconisent
\nl’abolition de la médecine traditionnelle chinoise. La médecine occidentale a posé des défis contraignants
\nà la médecine traditionnelle chinoise, mais a également contribué à sa transformation et à son développement.
\nSans les défis posés par la médecine occidentale, la médecine chinoise serait restée dans le passé, incompatible
\navec la société moderne. En tant que « concurrente » et « amie », la médecine occidentale a introduit la
\nmédecine traditionnelle chinoise dans la société moderne et a contribué à son intégration progressive.
