Abstract
A durabilidade dos aços empregados em ferramentas de conformação é um aspecto crucial para a preservação da qualidade das peças e para a redução dos custos associados à manutenção. Ela depende da seleção adequada do material para as punções/matrizes, assim como do acabamento superficial, do seu tratamento térmico e revestimento. O objetivo deste estudo é investigar um dos fatores que contribuem para a rápida deterioração dos aços, que é o desgaste adesivo. Para tal, foram conduzidos ensaios de atrito com elevadas pressões para acelerar a formação de aderência nos aços. A máquina utilizada para estas investigações é um equipamento para ensaios de atrito desenvolvido pela Bruning Tecnometal. Os corpos de prova da ferramenta foram fabricados com aços ferramenta de uso comum disponíveis no mercado.
