Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

In this article, a novel design for ultrawideband transition is presented to connect double ridge waveguide and stripline technology. The introduced structure contains a Teflon seal that holds an inner conductor connecting the double ridge with the middle strip of the stripline configuration. This pin is shaped to ensure the mechanical stability of the structure as well as achieve a deep matching level. The proposed transition has a 100% fractional bandwidth covering the band from 6 to 18 GHz. This is an extended bandwidth for the WRD650 standard double ridge waveguide. The single transition matching level achieved beyond <inline-formula xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"> <tex-math notation="LaTeX">$-$</tex-math> </inline-formula> 25 dB, while the back-to-back transition has a matching level below <inline-formula xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"> <tex-math notation="LaTeX">$-$</tex-math> </inline-formula> 18 dB. In addition, a comprehensive power analysis has been conducted, revealing that the proposed transition demonstrates remarkable power-handling capabilities, with a maximum power threshold of 2.5 kW, making it highly suitable for high-power microwave applications. The proposed structure is fabricated and measured, where the measured response has a very good agreement with the simulated one.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
