Abstract
Judicial activism and the Constitution *A s one who has seen the inside of the government decision making and legislative drafting process, I hope this article brings a different, yet useful, perspective to this issue of Canada Watch.This article touches on three topics: 1. the position of the present Ontario government concerning the constitution and the rule of law; 2. the essential role of the people in any constitutional dialogue.;and 3. the importance of mutual respect among all parties to the dialogue.
