Abstract
Au moins depuis la publication du livre L’Entraide de Pierre Kropotkine1, au début du XXe siècle, les anarchistes s’intéressent aux sociétés autochtones qui offrent des exemples de sociétés plus égalitaires et moins autoritaires. En 2005, le Mohawk Gerald Taiaiake Alfred, originaire de Kahnawá:ke, a proposé le terme « anarcho-indigénisme » pour désigner cette dynamique de convergence entre les idées et les pratiques des autochtones traditionalistes et des anarchistes altermondialistes. Nous avons lancé, voici quelques mois, un projet de livre sur ce thème, dont chaque chapitre sera une entrevue avec un ou une autochtone qui livrera ses réflexions au sujet de la politique, du pouvoir, de l’égalité et de la liberté, en se référant à ses expériences et à celles de sa communauté. Nous vous présentons ici des extraits de deux des entrevues déjà réalisées. Le livre devrait paraître aux éditions Lux.
