Abstract
Comment un projet de recherche-action-formation, cherchant à valoriser les langues et les cultures des Métis dans les écoles primaires francophones de l’Ouest canadien, permet-il d’explorer les interconnexions entre les langues autochtones, les savoirs traditionnels et la relation à la terre ? À travers une série d’exemples tirés de l’approche que nous avons développée autour des langues traditionnelles des Métis, nous explorons comment la pédagogie de la terre, telle que nous l’interprétons en lien avec les savoirs transmis par les Ainés qui ont collaboré à ce projet, nous permet de jeter un regard neuf sur notre rapport à la nature et aux Autres.
