Par Jean-Claude RocDe nos jours, la question de la migration et de l'immigration fait partie des échiquiers politiques dans plusieurs sociétés.Le but de ce texte consiste à jeter un regard sur l'appropriation de ces notions à des fins électoralistes par certains dirigeants politiques, de partis politiques, dans plusieurs pays européens, aux États-Unis et au Brésil et de présenter comment, au Québec, les partis politiques font de la question de l'immigration un enjeu politique. Les causes actuelles de la migration et de l'immigration clandestinesLes mouvements migratoires ont toujours existé.Ils ne datent pas d'hier, ils ont été développés par la colonisation sur une grande échelle par les Européens, qui ont envahi l'Afrique et d'autres régions du monde.Au cours de l'histoire, les Occidentaux ont défini à leur manière les notions de migration et d'immigration dans une grille typologique.Ils ont institué des lois contraignantes et sélectives qui pénalisent les ressortissants des pays les moins nantis.D'où la migration et l'immigration clandestines.Á l'époque de la guerre froide, les gens fuyaient partout dans le monde, principalement pour échapper aux régimes répressifs, dictatoriaux.Présentement, la migration prend la forme d'un exode massif avec les flux de migrants, ressortissants des pays d'Afrique, du Moyen-Orient, d'Asie et de l'Amérique centrale, pour ne nommer que ceux-là.Les causes qui les poussent à migrer sont multiples : crises politiques, conflits armés, discrimination ethnique, conditions socio-économiques
