Abstract
O setor florestal destaca-se como um relevante segmento da economia nacional. No entanto, sua potencialidade econômica contrasta com as situações precárias de trabalho, elevado número de acidentes e doenças ocupacionais, despertando a atenção da comunidade científica. O presente estudo teve como objetivo realizar a análise ergonômica da atividade, visando a compreensão dos aspectos ambientais, materiais e organizacionais da etapa do Tombo e Empilhamento Manual, em uma empresa terceirizada do setor de colheita e transporte florestal, localizada na região metropolitana do Vale do Aço-MG. Utilizou-se como método a Análise Ergonômica do Trabalho (AET), incluindo a realização de observações globais e sistemáticas, filmagens e fotografias do processo de trabalho, verbalizações simultâneas, entrevistas semiestruturadas e auto confrontação individual e coletiva. Observou-se que os trabalhadores que realizam a extração da madeira estão expostos a diversos fatores de risco ambientais e materiais, como: carregamento de peso excessivo, exigências de posturas estereotipadas, exposição às intempéries do ambiente (trabalho a céu aberto), ferramentas inadequadas, trabalho realizado em terrenos íngremes e irregulares com alto risco de acidentes. Também foi possível identificar aspectos relacionados à organização do trabalho e ao sistema de remuneração adotado, os quais precarizam ainda mais o trabalho. Diante das condições identificadas, recomendações de ordens material, ambiental e organizacional foram feitas, visando-se melhores condições de saúde e trabalho no Tombo e Empilhamento Manual.
