Abstract
A construção civil é responsável por grande parte do impacto ambiental no planeta, consequentemente, pesquisas em sustentabilidade são assuntos em ascensão. Assim, o presente trabalho objetivou promover o desenvolvimento de formulações preliminares de argamassa de solo com adições de fibras têxteis de poliéster, analisando seu potencial em substituir a argamassa de revestimento cimentícia utilizada em ambientes internos. Avaliou-se principalmente propriedades como a consistência e a fissuração formuladas com dois solos distintos, um com predominância de partículas argilosas e outro arenosas, foram feitas misturas de solo com variações nos teores de umidade e percentagens de adição de fibras de poliéster para conter a fissuração. A partir dos resultados obtidos observou-se que existe um intervalo ótimo de umidade, e que a inserção de fibras pôde reduzir o índice de fissuração. As argamassas com solo arenoso apresentaram menores índices de fissuração, porém ainda são necessários outros ensaios para avaliar outras características importantes na avaliação de uma argamassa de revestimento.
