Abstract
Ce livre témoigne du contemporain en poésie au Québec, au croisement de la perte, de la mémoire, du nouveau et de l’espoir. Il en reprend le caractère hybride, colligeant poèmes, essais, photographies et paroles, sachant que ces traces ne peuvent se passer les unes des autres. Dans une courtepointe de textes, le contemporain est abordé de manière contemporaine : toujours la théorie naît du vécu, et le vécu prend de l’épaisseur à travers la théorie. La réflexion part du commun pour s’intéresser ensuite à ce qui est maintenu à l’écart des institutions et de la culture dominante. Une fois cette mise en tension établie, le livre aborde des formes de résistance selon des stratégies d’autoreprésentation ou de publication. Ouvrant des lieux de réflexion pour la poésie actuelle, les auteur·ices situent celle-ci au coeur de communautés, de solidarités, de tensions, d’agitation, d’amour et de désordre, et l’éloignent un instant des livres pour en retrouver les voix, les corps et les affects.
