Abstract
Au cours des dernières années, un changement de génération au sein de l’équipe de la Maison St-Jacques a favorisé une réflexion par rapport au fonctionnement autogestionnaire de l’organisme. Au-delà de l’utopie du pouvoir égalitaire, les enjeux de rivalité, asymétries et ambiguïtés dans le processus de prise de décision ont été reconnus. À partir de l’expérience de la Maison St-Jacques, ce texte présente quelques enjeux inhérents à l’autogestion en tant que pratique organisationnelle. L’illusion du pouvoir égalitaire sur laquelle repose le projet autogestionnaire sera articulée avec une perspective psychanalytique des liens fraternels. Par l’exploration des enjeux psychiques inhérents au rapport individu-groupe, les défis du fonctionnement de l’autogestion seront dégagés pour en faire ressortir ses paradoxes et potentielles dérives.
