Abstract
Ce texte présente le parcours clinique de Marie, une participante à la thérapie de groupe de la Maison St-Jacques, afin d’illustrer un processus psychothérapeutique psychanalytique d’une durée de trois ans. Quelques prémisses théoriques de l’approche analytique groupale ainsi que quelques précisions sur le cadre proposé à la Maison St-Jacques sont développées. Le lecteur est invité à suivre le parcours de Marie depuis ses entrevues d’admission jusqu’à son arrivée dans le groupe, son adaptation à un espace de parole libre et son apprentissage d’un travail de symbolisation et de liaison aux autres, ainsi que d’un travail de deuil et de séparation. Par cette incursion à l’intérieur d’un parcours thérapeutique groupal, le travail des psychothérapeutes, la méthode et la force du groupe nous sont présentés dans leur complexité et leur richesse.
