Abstract
Abstract. Communication-based planning involves understanding communication patterns and interaction methods within a targeted development area. Kampung Adat Kuta, a traditional village, maintains extensive communication ties with governmental institutions, educational bodies, and various entities. To assess the extent of their connections with external parties, a communication network mapping is essential. Analyzing social networks through Centrality measurements provides insights into key actors within Kampung Adat Kuta, those with close relationships both internally and externally, and individuals capable of facilitating internal and external communication relationships within the village network. This research involves questioning influential figures in Kampung Adat Kuta about their communication relationships. As a novel investigation, the study aims to generate a communication network that contributes significantly to the forthcoming planning efforts in Kampung Adat Kuta. Abstrak. Perencanaan yang berbasis komunikasi dilakukan salah satunya dengan cara mengetahui bagaimana pola komunikasi dan cara berinteraksi pada Kawasan yang ingin dikembangkan. Kampung adat kuta memiliki hubungan komunikasi yang cukup luas mulai dari instansi pemerintahan, instansi Pendidikan, dan sebagainnya. sehingga pemetaan jejaring komunikasi dibutuhkan untuk melihat sejauh mana mereka menjaring hubungan dengan pihak luar, untuk melihat pola dan sebaran komunikasi maka diperlukan analisis jejaring sosial dengan menggunakan pengukuran Centrality, yang dapat melihat siapa yang menjadi pemeran kunci di Kampung Adat Kuta, siapa saja yang memiliki hubungan dekat dengan pihak eksternal dan internal, dan juga melihat siapa yang memiliki kapasitas untuk memfasilitasi hubungan komunikasi internal dan eksternal yang ada pada jaringan komunikasi Kampung Adat Kuta. Penelitian ini di lakukan dengan menanyakan pertanyaan seputar hubungan komunikasi kepada pihak yang dianggap berpengaruh di Kampung Adat Kuta. Penelitian ini belum pernah dilakukan Sehingga penelitian ini bisa menghasilkan jejaring komunikasi yang diharapkan bisa berkontribusi terhadap perencanaan yang akan dilakukan di Kampung Adat Kuta.
