Abstract
A presente análise resulta da investigação promovida pela Cátedra Camilo Castelo Branco, criada em parceria com a Câmara Municipal de Sintra e o CLUL/FLUL, no âmbito da Coleção Camiliana de Sintra, a qual classificada como “Bem Cultural de Interesse Público”, possuindo um acervo onde se destacam o valor histórico e os contributos imprescindíveis para a ampliação das leituras sobre o legado diligenciado pelos camilianistas e entusiastas da obra de Camilo Castelo Branco em torno da preservação da sua memória histórico-literária. Salientamos, nesta investigação, a particularidade assumida pelo Culto Camiliano no período mediado pela participação de Portugal na Grande Guerra e pelas comemorações do centenário de nascimento do Autor luso.
