Abstract
Dans les entreprises, la performance du vendeur constitue souvent un sujet épineux car elle est difficile à définir et donc à cerner, mais aussi car les avis divergent sur la nature et les types d’indicateurs à utiliser pour l’appréhender de manière opérationnelle. Cet article propose un modèle d’évaluation fondé sur le vendeur lui-même, l’organisation des ventes et les clients, à travers quatre types de performance (performance des résultats, comportementale, dans le rôle et extra-rôle). Ce modèle est ensuite confronté à l’expérience de six gestionnaires de force de vente français et canadien.
