Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

This dataset contains the digitized treatments in Plazi based on the original journal article Ilyukhin, Evgeny, Markovskaja, Svetlana (2023): Helminthosporium paraoligosporum sp. nov., a new ascomycetous fungus from Ontario, Canada. Phytotaxa 607 (2): 151-159, DOI: 10.11646/phytotaxa.607.2.4, URL: http://dx.doi.org/10.11646/phytotaxa.607.2.4AbstractA novel anamorphic ascomycetous fungus, Helminthosporium paraoligosporum (Pleosporales, Ascomycota), isolated from branches of linden trees is described and characterized. The species is morphologically distinct from other Helminthosporium spp. by shorter conidiophores and conidia, and culture characteristics. Phylogenetic analysis of a combined set of ITS and LSU sequence data also supports the establishment of a new species. H. paraoligosporum is clustered with H. caespitosum, H. oligosporum, and H. tiliae. The species in this clade have similar morphological characteristics and host affiliation. In particular, conidiophores of the species (except H. tiliae) can be reduced to elongated conidiogenous cells. H. caespitosum is associated with Betula spp., while the other species in this clade have been collected from Tilia spp. only.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
