Le 8 juillet 1673, Vincent Roger, 14 ans, est mis en apprentissage pour 6 ans avec Louis Cossin. Ses parents ne payent rien, et c’est même lui qui sera payé 60 livres au terme des 6 ans. Ce jeune homme est le frère d’un autre jeune graveur, François Roger. Il meurt jeune, ce qui explique l’absence d’œuvre à son nom.
