Abstract
This Great Educational Materials article describes a novel nutrition education approach using a series of statewide virtual book club webinars for the book Is Butter a Carb: Unpicking Fact from Fiction in the World of Nutritition by Rosie Saunt and Helen West. This book club is implemented within the University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service (Extension) to address nutrition misinformation and strengthen nutrition literacy, focusing on the consumer's knowledge, confidence, and intention to use nutrition information accurately.
