Abstract
A saúde, de acordo com a Constituição Federal, é direito de todos e dever do Estado. São atribuições do sistema único de saúde (SUS) executar as ações de vigilância sanitária e epidemiológica, bem como as de saúde do trabalhador e colaborar na proteção do meio ambiente, nele compreendido o do trabalho. A Política Nacional de Saúde do Trabalhador e da Trabalhadora (PNSTT) e a Rede Nacional de Atenção Integral à Saúde do Trabalhador (RENAST) buscam a intervenção nas relações entre trabalho considerando o processo saúde-doença para garantir melhor qualidade de saúde ao trabalhador. A saúde do trabalhador precisa ser fomentada na Estratégia de Saúde da Família uma vez que ela é porta de entrada do trabalhador e obrigatoriamente notificadora dos agravos de saúde do trabalhador. Sendo que com estas notificações as autoridades sanitárias poderão tomar medidas para seu esgotamento ou contenção. A PNSTT a RENAST representam uma principal estratégia da organização da saúde do trabalhador no sistema único de saúde.
