Celia Deane-Drummond nos ofrece las claves para una respuesta teológica al trans-humanismo. Claves que podemos enmarcar en dos temas de su teología: la relación entre ciencia y teología como compañeras de viaje, y un re-imaginar el ser imagen de Dios de tal modo que, afirmando el carácter único del ser humano y de su relación con Dios, le sitúe en el marco de una evolución compartida. Desde ahí, Deane-Drummond presenta las tres claves de la respuesta teológica al transhumanismo: la valorización de la realidad corporal del ser humano, su relación con el resto de seres vivos en unión con su carácter único, y el que el futuro que el transhumanismo predice no es inevitable, los seres humanos son dueños de su propio destino
