La littérature soutient que l’approche par projets (APR), un modèle d’enseignement où l’apprentissage des contenus disciplinaires s’effectue par la réalisation d’un projet souvent de manière collaborative menant à une production concrète (Krajcik et Shin, 2022), favorise l’apprentissage comparativement à des méthodes d’enseignement plus traditionnelles. Toutefois, l’état actuel des connaissances ne fait pas consensus quant au développement d’habiletés de collaboration induit par cette approche. Aussi, si les causes des conflits intraéquipes lors de travaux collaboratifs sont bien documentées, peu d’études expliquent les actions entreprises par les étudiant∙es pour les résoudre et l’influence de ces conflits sur les apprentissages. Ainsi, cette étude qualitative expose les stratégies de résolution de conflits utilisées par des étudiant∙es pour résoudre des conflits intraéquipes principalement causés par des cas de paresse sociale durant une APR interdisciplinaire. Les résultats montrent que, malgré les conflits, de nombreux apprentissages sont autorapportés, permettant d’explorer des liens entre conflits et apprentissages. La discussion suggère que l’intensité des émotions influence le choix des stratégies de résolution. Il est également proposé de mieux accompagner les équipes pour soutenir une collaboration efficace.
