Abstract
Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 33 Tahun 2012 tentang Pemberian Air Susu Ibu Eksklusif, dimana ASI adalah Air Susu Ibu yang diberikan kepada bayi sejak dilahirkan selama enam bulan, tanpa menambahkan dan mengganti dengan makanan atau minuman lain kecuali obat, vitamin dan mineral (Kemenkes, 2017). Dalam pemberian ASI Eksklusif ada beberapa kendala seperti : persepsi bayi yang tidak kenyang 29 %, masalah kesehatan ibu 26 %, takut bayi menjadi ketergantungan ASI 26 %, tekanan dari ibu mertua 25 %, nyeri di payudara 25 %, dan ibu kembali bekerja 24 %, (Bonia et al, 2013). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh dukungan keluarga terhadap pemberian ASI Eksklusif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah observasional analitik dengan menggunakan desain case control . Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu yang memiliki bayi usia 6-12 bulan yang berjumlah 62 orang di wilayah kerja puskesmas Air Dingin Kota Padang. Hasil dari penelitian di dapatkan bahwa ada hubungan yang bermakna antara dukungan keluarga dengan pemberian ASI Eksklusif yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai p <0.05. Disarankan kepada tenaga kesehatan yang bertugas serta kader untuk lebih memotivasi ibu dan keluarga dalam memberikan ASI Eksklusif bagi bayi agar dapat mempunyai bayi yang sehat
