Abstract
Avec cette collection, Les Presses de l'Université Laval offrent à la communauté scientifique un lieu privilégié pour diffuser des études renouvelées sur les rapports complexes qui existent entre les sociétés et les expériences religieuses, passées ou actuelles.« Religions, cultures et sociétés » fait connaître à un large public des ouvrages qui interprètent globalement les faits religieux en les resituant dans leurs réalités socioculturelles.La collection s'ouvre à plusieurs disciplines, en particulier l'histoire, la sociologie, l'anthropologie et l'ethnologie, la théologie et les sciences religieuses.Elle privilégie les recherches interdisciplinaires sans toutefois exclure d'excellents travaux qui s'inscrivent dans une seule discipline.Comme le soulignent les pluriels du titre, « Religions, cultures et sociétés » valorise les perspectives comparatives entre religions, provinces et pays.Elle se veut donc ouverte à toutes les religions et tous les ordres religieux et cela, au-delà de toute approche normative.La collection accueille à la fois des monographies, des synthèses et des manuels universitaires.Elle favorise les coéditions étrangères et la traduction des ouvrages majeurs.
