Abstract
L’examen du travail de réécriture fait par Hélène Monette à partir des premiers jets que contiennent ses carnets déposés au Service des bibliothèques et archives de l’Université de Sherbrooke (P79) permet de voir dans quel sens elle souhaitait pousser certains des traits de ses personnages. Le Fonds Hélène Monette contient bien d’autre matériel qui permet de saisir le rapport à l’écriture de l’auteure.
