Desa Galeo Baru terletak pada pulau Kalimantan lebih tepatnya di Kecamatan BarongTongkok Kabupaten Kutai Barat, dalam rutinitas sehari-hari kebutuhan air baku masyarakat di Desa Galeo Baru sangat mengandalkan sumber air tanah, namun tidak semua masyarakat memilikinya. Dengan adanya sungai Goohaq nantinya dapat dijadikan suplai air baku guna memenuhi kebutuhan air baku di Desa Galeo Baru. Tujuan dari studi ini merupakan untuk merencanakan sistem jaringan air baku dari sungai Goohaq ke Desa Galeo Baru, meliputi kuantitas air, hidrolika dan rencana anggaran biaya. Untuk perencanaan jaringan dan perhitungan hidrolika menggunakan aplikasi WaterCAD V8i. Dari hasil analisa didapatkan kondisi hidrolis jaringan pipa masih memenuhi persyaratan teknis yang ditentukan, untuk kecepatan sebesar 0,100 m/dt – 2,5 m/dt, tekanan 0,5 atm – 10 atm, headloss gradient 0 m/km – 15 m/km. Dengan total rencana anggaran biaya (RAB) untuk perencanaan distribusi air baku di Desa Galeo Baru Kecamatan BarongTongkok Kabupaten Kutai Barat dengan nilai proyek sebesar Rp. 713.177.000.
