Abstract
En adoptant une double perspective - étude des musiques populaires et approche communicationnelle- l’analyse de la programmation des scènes de musiques actuelles (Smac) en Occitanie propose de saisir la place de ces intermédiaires culturels dans la construction sonore de ce territoire. En tant que salles à la fois subventionnées par rapport à un projet territorial et inscrites dans la filière industrielle musicale, elles participent à représenter différemment cette région selon si elles utilisent des catégories musicales professionnelles (de « travail ») ou des catégories musicales de « communication » (destinées à leurs publics).
