EXPERIÊNCIA DE APLICAÇÃO DA ESCALA DE DESENVOLVIMENTO MOTOR EM CRIANÇAS DA EDUCAÇÃO INFANTIL

Abstract
Foi nosso objetivo avaliar o nível de desenvolvimento motor de crianças que frequentam uma escola pública de educação infantil. Para tanto optamos pela pesquisa quali/quantitativa de caráter exploratório, e como instrumento de coleta de dados lançamos mão da Escala de Desenvolvimento Motor (EDM). Treze crianças com faixa etária entre 4 e 5 anos foram avaliadas. Os dados revelaram que 69% dos escolares se encontram dentro dos critérios de normalidade e 31% estão entre os índices de muito inferior e normal inferior, o que nos permite conjecturar sobre a realidade de oferta de ambientes formativos, familiar e escolar que tenham como premissa a oferta do rol das práticas corporais. Nessa linha, a indispensabilidade, da promoção de estímulos que considerem a motricidade como caminho pedagógico e formativo.
