Abstract
Cet ouvrage témoigne d’un désir de comprendre les processus de création, de développement professionnel et de recherche mis en oeuvre lors de la biennale Zones théâtrales 2013. Il s’adresse tant au public qui suit avec attention l’évolution théâtrale de la francophonie canadienne qu’aux artistes professionnels et aux diffuseurs qui y participent. Conçue au sein du Centre national des Arts sous la direction artistique de René Cormier, cette biennale a donné lieu à un feu roulant d’activités inscrivant les créations présentées dans un imaginaire collectif. Pour ouvrir le dialogue, un ensemble d’auteurs passionnés de théâtre ont accepté de se mettre à l’écoute de ce qui s’y passe, d’assister aux spectacles, de rencontrer des artistes et d’écrire sur ses multiples dimensions. Ce dialogue, qui entoure la création, devient au fil des chapitres source motrice, car il incite à la réflexion et permet de mettre en évidence la manière dont une recherche qualitative/interprétative peut être réalisée dans un contexte d’événement artistique.
