Dirigée par Madeleine GauthierDepuis trois décennies, les études sur les jeunes ont connu un foisonnement sans précédent dans toutes les sociétés, du moins en Occident.Toutes les disciplines des sciences sociales ont été mises à contribution à des degrés divers.Des chantiers de recherche ont été ouverts çà et là, selon les perceptions, les besoins, les questions du moment.Cette collection réunit des ouvrages portant sur l'état des travaux réalisés sur la jeunesse dans différents pays du monde afin de mesurer l'ampleur et l'importance de ces travaux, mais surtout d'en faire ressortir les principales thématiques et la manière de les aborder selon les sociétés.D'où devrait se dégager, à travers l'inventaire des travaux, une meilleure connaissance de la jeunesse du monde.
