PEMBERDAYAAN IBU HAMIL UNTUK MEMPERBAIKI POSTUR, ENDURANCE, KEKUATAN DAN ELASTISITAS OTOT TAHUN 2024

Abstract
Latar Belakang: Selama kehamilan, ibu banyak mengalami perubahan secara fisiologis dan anatomi yang salah satunya disebabkan karena pertambahan ukuran janin diikuti dengan bertambahnya berat badan ibu. Proses tersebut mengakibatkan perubahan postur sehingga ibu hamil mudah merasakan nyeri atau pegal-pegal, kelemahan otot, penurunan elastisitas otot dan penurunan daya tahan jantung paru. Dalam hal ini, fisioterapi memiliki peran dalam penyembuhan gerak dan fungsi tubuh ibu hamil, meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran mengenai kesehatan kehamilan dan mengedukasi kelompok ibu hamil. Tujuan: Tujuan kegiatan pemberdayaan ini untuk memberikan penyuluhan dan pemberdayaan masyarakat mengenai postur, endurance, kekuatan serta elastisitas otot pada ibu hamil khususnya yang memiliki gangguan. Metode: Metode kegiatan yang digunakan adalah metode edukasi dengan pemberian penyuluhan dan latihan kepada ibu hamil serta pemeriksaan endurance dengan Six Minute Walking Test (6MWT), kekuatan otot menggunakan Dinamometer Handgrip dan elastisitas otot menggunakan tes meraih kedua tangan. Hasil: Pemeriksaan dilakukan kepada 37 orang ibu hamil dan didapatkan hasil 100% ibu hamil memiliki endurance buruk, 60% HGS kanan dikategorikan lemah, 87% HGS kiri dikategorikan lemah, 19% dikategorikan tidak elastis dan 84% obesitas. Kesimpulan: Kegiatan pemberdayaan ibu hamil di Desa Nambo yang meliputi kegiatan penyuluhan dan pemeriksaan terlaksana dengan lancar, sistematika dan terorganisir dengan baik.
