integrar a pesquisa básica à clínica.A doença mais citada pelos estudos foi a anemia falciforme.No Brasil, programas de saúde pública e pesquisas científicas têm sido fomentadas, como o Programa Nacional de Triagem Neonatal (PNTN) e a Rede de Atenção às Pessoas com Doenças Crônicas (pelo Sistema Único de Saúde, SUS).Conclusão: Conclui-se que é de suma importância a realização de novos estudos a fim de promover uma busca contínua por novas terapias, aprimoramentos diagnósticos e uma abordagem holística que una pesquisa básica, clínica e medidas de saúde pública, principalmente voltadas para a anemia falciforme.
