Effect of a physical activity intervention on individual pattern of daily self-efficacy in women with breast cancer and psychological distress
Bibliographic record
Abstract
Self-efficacy, which is a key determinant of physical activity (PA), fluctuates in a specific way for each individual and is influenced by emotional or physiological states. However, studies have only investigated the temporal variability of self-efficacy at the between-person level and excluded people with severe psychological distress, whereas depressive and anxiety symptoms could have a negative effect on self-efficacy patterns. We examined the effects of a 12-week PA intervention on daily self-efficacy level among women with breast cancer and psychological distress. Series of N-of-1, with an ABA’ design, were carried out. Phase A and A’ (2 weeks each) represented pre- and post-intervention measures. During the 16 weeks of the study, sixteen participants daily reported their self-efficacy, depression, and anxiety levels. A significant increase of self-efficacy for PA has been found for 9 participants during and/or after the intervention phase. Different temporal patterns of self-efficacy were observed during those phases.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
