Après avoir pris sa retraite comme joueuse de tennis professionnelle, Valérie Tétreault a rapidement gravi les échelons de Tennis Canada. Travailleuse acharnée, autodidacte ancrée dans sa passion du tennis, elle a été nommée, en octobre 2022, à l’aube de ses 35 ans, à la direction du célèbre tournoi de l’Omnium Banque Nationale.
