Abstract
Un exceptionnel segment d’aqueduc a été découvert aux 73-75-77 avenue du Point-du-Jour à Lyon. Il est constitué de deux conduites en bois de gros diamètre installées dans un large fossé.Sa datation précise du début du ier s. apr. J.-C. et sa localisation pourraient permettre de le mettre en relation avec l’aqueduc de l’Yzeron. Il s’agit peut-être d’un tracé provisoire ou d’une dérivation liée à des travaux sur le canal principal. La possibilité d’un ouvrage indépendant de l’aqueduc de l’Yzeron peut aussi être avancée.Par la suite, une pile maçonnée de l’aqueduc de la Brévenne a été construite sur cet ouvrage au milieu du ier s. apr. J.-C.
