An Efficient Approach for Designing Ultrathin Transmitarray Antennas Based on Equivalent Circuit Analysis
Bibliographic record
Abstract
We present an ultrathin and wideband transmitarray antenna formed from unit-cells with an ultralow thickness of$0.04 \lambda _{0}$. The unit-cells are constructed from two identical substrates with three metallic layers to provide a 90° polarization rotation of the incident wave. An efficient and simple way to design the low thickness unit-cell is presented based on the analysis of its equivalent circuit (EQC). To demonstrate the method, we designed and optimized unit-cells operating at center frequency of 12 GHz to provide a 3-bit phase resolution with eight phase states. Full-wave simulation results demonstrate that eight phase states have a large common 1 dB transmission magnitude bandwidth of 27%. A transmitarray prototype using the 3-bit phase shift unit cells was also fabricated. Measurements show that the transmitarray achieves a high aperture efficiency of 62% and a large 1 dB gain bandwidth of 22%.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
