Rosacea as a potential risk factor for dementia Recent investigations have identified an epidemiological correlation between rosacea and increased dementia risk, particularly Alzheimer's disease. 1,2This intersection suggests potential inflammatory mediators that may operate in both cutaneous and neurological domains, offering potential insights into overlapping pathophysiological frameworks.However, research on racial variation and dementia type in the context of this association remains limited.A retrospective cohort analysis following the STROBE reporting guideline was conducted utilizing data from the All of Us (AoU) Research Program, a National Institutes of Health initiative that aggregates health data across diverse populations.a Multivariable regression analysis controlled for age, race/ethnicity, sex, income, education, smoking, alcohol consumption, and BMI.
