Abstract
Depuis la publication de la première édition du Manuel de réadaptation psychiatrique en 2004, l’évolution des connaissances, des habiletés et des croyances s’est poursuivie à un rythme accéléré. Cette deuxième édition rend compte de ces transformations par des chapitres inédits ou renouvelés et de nouveaux collaborateurs. Il s’agit d’un recueil des interventions de pointe élaborées afin de favoriser le rétablissement des personnes vivant avec un problème de santé mentale important. En ciblant certaines approches thérapeutiques (thérapie de groupe, approche familiale, etc.), les auteurs nous font partager leur expertise sur ces nouvelles interventions jugées efficaces, qu'elles soient liées à une situation spécifique (troubles concomitants, violence, itinérance, premiers épisodes) ou à une sphère particulière de réadaptation (réintégration professionnelle, remédiation cognitive, gestion des symptômes). Le lecteur pourra ainsi se référer aux travaux d'auteurs réputés du Québec, du Canada, des États-Unis et de l'Europe, et ce, en français.
