Abstract
El conocimiento popular permanece preservado a través del tiempo, como una herencia cultural que promueve la fe religiosa y las tradiciones de la comunidad. En este bagaje cultural, San Isidro Labrador, conocido como patrón de los agricultores, permanece vigente tras generaciones como una manifestación de dichos conocimientos, en especial en Latinoamérica y España. Debido a su relevancia, aún hoy en día, en este manuscrito se aborda la vida de San Isidro, su canonización y su significancia contemporánea desde una perspectiva tanto eclesiástica como sincrética. Así mismo, la necesidad de mantener vivos estos saberes y tradiciones para el enriquecimiento cultural.
