L’écriture a longtemps été envisagée sous son aspect de littérarité, et non pour ses qualités de communication dans les champs professionnels ou dans le domaine de la formation. C’est pour aborder ce nouveau sujet qu’un groupe de chercheures et chercheurs, composé d’universitaires francophones provenant de la Belgique, de la France, du Québec et de la Suisse, a voulu mettre à contribution ses réflexions dans Les écritures en situations professionnelles. Quelles sont les caractéristiques de l’écriture professionnelle ? Entre prescription et réalité, transcription et transformation, conformité et singularité, les écritures en situations professionnelles s’immiscent dans les activités du travail sous des formes et selon des logiques différentes. La question posée dans ce livre est la suivante : en quoi l’écriture peut-elle favoriser la professionnalisation dans le champ de l’éducation et de la formation des adultes ? La visée de cet ouvrage collectif est de répondre à cette interrogation en apportant un éclairage aux enseignantes et -enseignants, formatrices et formateurs, professionnelles et professionnels, tant d’un point de vue théorique, en se situant sur des champs de recherches différents, que d’un point de vue pratique, dans une perspective d’interventions. Deux volets de l’écriture sont abordés : l’écriture comme instrument de développement professionnel et les effets de l’écriture comme outils de professionnalisation.
