Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

This chapter aims to participate in the ongoing construction of a software culture among architects, following the example of the various thinkers who have tried to raise awareness of the meaning of technology and its objects. In order to establish the analysis, the chapter presents different events, software, objects, practices and debates to understand some key elements of this complex interweaving. Indeed, a number of relatively important events related to computer science and architecture have taken place. In this chapter, the central question concerns the relationship between the built and the society, with the observation that the dwellings are terrible and antisocial . It ends by pointing out different trends that have been guiding software development for the last 15 years and their repercussions on many practices. Morphological manipulations and their resulting forms can hardly be separated from the software that defined them.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
