Abstract
Para las personas transfemeninas, la trayectoria vital suele estar anclada a realidades de exclusión y marginación; la necesidad de aunarse con otras mujeres trans en este caso es fundamental. El presente trabajo explora una de estas dimensiones: el cuidado asociado a la figura del transparentesco que trasciende lo meramente biológico, para constituirse en una posibilidad instrumental, simbólica y afectiva que les permite acompañarse y apoyarse. Se realizó una investigación de metodología cualitativa, con diseño hermenéutico, contando con la participación de nueve mujeres adultas con distintos roles dentro del transparentesco: madres, hijas, hermanas, usando metodologías de recolección de datos como la entrevista en profundidad y la observación participante. Los datos se analizaron mediante el sistema de codificación de datos propuesto por Strauss y Corbin (2002). El propósito del trabajo es dar cuenta de la manera en que se perciben las dimensiones relacional y comunitaria del cuidado en la experiencia del transparentesco construido y vivido por un colectivo de mujeres trans de la ciudad de Bogotá.
