ABSTRAK Fenomena menikah dini pada umumnya banyak terjadi di negara- negara berkembang. Sedangkan di negara-negara maju seperti Amerika Serikat, Inggris, Kanada dan Austria, hanya sedikit kasus yang ditemukan . Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui Hubungan Status Ekonomi Keluarga dengan Kejadian Pernikahan Dini di Desa Sibio-Bio Kecamatan Sibabangun Kabupaten Tapanuli Tengah Tahun 2022 . Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif korelasional dan menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional Populasi seluruh wanita usia subur yang sudah menikah di Desa Sibio- Bio Kecamatan Sibabangun Kabupaten Tapanuli Tengah tahun 2022 berjumlah 141 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling yaitu wanita usia subur yang sudah menikah sebanyak 104 orang. Hasil uji Chi Square didapatkan p=0.000 (<0.05), maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ada Hubungan Status Ekonomi Keluarga dengan Kejadian Pernikahan Dini di Desa Sibio-Bio Kecamatan Sibabangun Kabupaten Tapanuli Tengah Tahun 2022. Sebagai masukan terhadap petugas kesehatan agar dapat memberikan pelayanan dan konseling yang terbaik khususnya tentang dampak pernikahan dini. Kata Kunci : Status ekonomi keluarga, pernikahan dini Abstract The phenomenon of early marriage generally occurs in developing countries. Meanwhile in advanced countries such as the United States, Britain, Canada and Austria, only a few cases are found. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between family economic status and early marriage in Sibio-Bio Village, Sibabangun District, Central Tapanuli Regency 2022. The study used quantitative research with a descriptive correlational design by using a cross sectional approach. The population was 141 people, all of married women of reproductive aged in Sibio-Bio Village, Sibabangun District, Central Tapanuli Regency in 2022. The random sampling technique was carried about 104 married women of of reproductive aged. Chi Square test results obtained p = 0.000 (<0.05), then Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Thus, it could be concluded that there was a relationship between family economic status and early marriage incidence in Sibio-Bio Village, Sibabangun District, Central Tapanuli Regency in 2022. It is suggested to health workers in order to provide the best services and counseling, especially regarding the impact of early marriage. Keywords: family economic status, early marriage
