Abstract
Desa Wisata Widosari merupakan salah satu Desa Wisata yang berada di wilayah Kabupaten Kulon Progo. Sebagian besar penduduk usia muda di Desa Widosari lebih tertarik untuk mengadu nasib di kota. Hal ini mengakibatkan banyaknya potensi di Desa Widosari yang belum bisa terolah maksimal karena minimnya pengetahuan tentang peluang ekonomi di desa, kurangnya pemahaman mengenai urgensi wirausaha dan ekonomi kreatif yang dapat meningkatkan perekonomian. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui strategi penerapan ekonomi kreatif dan penerapan ekonomi kreatif dalam meningkatkan kunjungan wisatawan. Metode penelitian yang dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, yang memfokuskan pada studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan triangulasi.
