“Somos olhos d’água!”: conversas sobre racismo e resistências COM universitárias indígenas do Quebec e do Brasil

Abstract
Este artigo é fruto das reflexões provenientes de projeto de cooperação desenvolvido entre a Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro e a Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, buscando conhecer as experiências de universitárias indígenas dos contextos do Rio de Janeiro e do Quebec. Com base na perspectiva dos estudos como nos/dos/com os cotidianos, conhecemos algumas das iniciativas e ações em rede desenvolvidas pelas próprias estudantes universitárias indígenas para acessarem e permanecerem na universidade. Suas experiências e reflexões revelaram a forte estrutura racista que ainda persiste em nossas instituições de ensino. Refletimos sobre os desafios que nós, na academia, pesquisadoras não-indígenas e indígenas, ainda precisamos enfrentar para fortalecer a presença e a continuidade das mulheres indígenas no ensino superior.
